According to the marriage records in Greene Co., Pa. a William B. Campbell married Mary E. Iams, both of Aleppo Twp., Green Co., Pa. on 28 Dec 1878. I currently do not have ancestry.com for census to verify her parents. I do have her as a daughter of Jonathan & Phebe McCracken Iams.
Have you looked at any of the marriage records in Greene Co.?
