Well, I'm not sure how this would help but I'm an Iannone in Rhode Island. My father is Romeo Iannone, lives also in RI, and was born in Fondi, Lt, Italy.
His father is Gerardo Iannone and maried Emma Diamante and they moved to Providence, RI in 1971? They have four children together - Guilio Iannone, born 1950, Romeo, born 1952, Anna Iannone Smith, born 1954, and Maria Iannone Sangiovanni, born 1956. My grandfather also had a daughter from his first marriage where his wife passed away and her parents raised her. I know she was born before my uncle Gulio.
