Hi,
I am researching my husbands family and we had a Giovanni Donati that came to Richmond ,Virginia USA in 1879 with 2 sons Vittotio Charles and Andrew. They were born in Lucca, Italy and we are not sure of other family members that may have come over earlier or later. Our information says Giovanni was born abt. 1825 married Carubina and he died Jun 24,1882 in Va. Cabubina died here Sep.6,1888. I was not sure if this will match up to your Giovanni but I would love to here from you. Thanks, Merry
