My grandmother's maiden name is Yannone but I am unclear on a lot of details. While I wait on my family to fill in enough blanks for me to get started. To fill my spare time, I am helping Julie (other poster) get some information. She had a lot of information to start with so it has been easy to find information for her. My advantage is the fact that I speak Italian, am familiar with the resources and actually live in Italy. I plan a trip to Campobasso this summer and will try to do some research. While I'm there I'll be helping Julie and could try to help you as well if you can provide some more information.
Was your grandfather born in Italy? Do you know, specifically, which town? Any other info you can provide on relatives born in Italy will be extremely useful.
