John: Although my family is not related to yours, my great-grandparents surnames Polcari and Sasso (or possibly del Sasso before Ellis Island) were from Montefalcione. Have not been able to get there as of yet; am at work on a memoir about my family including what it is like there, how they would have left the town for Naples and the trip to America. Any help or information you could provide would be great. How can I try to get birth/baptismal records from Italy? In advance, thanks so much!
