Dear Vicki, I don't know if you can help me. I send you some information about my family Iarussi born in Vinchiaturo.
My grandfather Berardino,who was Gaetano and Camilla Barone's son, (the father of my father Gaetano who died in November 1931) had some brothers and some sisters emigrated in USA:
Michele Iarussi, 761 Taylor St. Chicago Illinois;
Pasquale Iarussi, 4359 Wagne (?) Avenue Nicetown Philadelphia;
Giuseppe Iacampo 1930 Casguyer (?) St. Nicetown Philadelphia (maybe a brother-in-law, maybe he married my grandfather Berardino's sister, Iacampo is a tipical surname of Vinchiaturo).
Later I found the following address:
Dorotea Iacampo Marino, N 8705 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, but this one was written by my father Gaetano, I have recognized his writing and ths MRS could be the Iacampo Giuseppe's daughter.
I found, besides ,an english letter of a such Camillo or Camilla, who wrote to my father Gaetano, he/she said that in the Autumn 1945 my uncle Pasquale (certainly the Pasquale Iarussi Berardino brother's). The letter is dated 15/April/1945 and coming fom Chicago so, should be a Michele Iarussi daughter's or niece's.
The address is unreadble, I can read only Rasse or Passer 3422 W Touwral or Mouwral St. Chicago, 24 Ill. Usa.
Some years ago Cosimino Pacifico asked his nephews who was working for the Apple in USA to make a reserch: he discovered that Michele had 2 sons :Dorotea or Doroty and Mario; Dorotea born 2/Febrary/ 1921 and died in October 1977, and my aunt Clelia remember that Mario came to Vinchiaturoas a soldier during the war.
