I am just starting with developing my genealogy, was fascinated to find this website. Imbach is my mother's maiden name and I have rarely heard of the name outside of my family. Could it be a further derivation of the Ibach clan? All I know at this point is that my great grandfather, Traugatt Imbach traveled to Maryland from Germany. His son, Martin G. Imbach started a construction company in Baltimore that still bears his name.
