Yes indeed there is a connection - all the Ibbitsons of Nova Scotia are related, and descend from William and Frances who emigrated from Yorkshire abe 1816-1820 with at least 5 children. One son was James b. 1809 who married Elizabeth Seaman and farmed in the Linden N area.
Frederick Bismark, one of Moses' 15 children, was born in Linden in 1889, married Margaret McKay in 1912, but went off to France in WW1 and died there in 1917. I didn't know they had children or what happened to Margaret, so I hope to hear from you. Also, where is Eureka?
