Thank you for the info. I have been away from this for some time as you can see.
I have found out that my Grandfather Duke Ibbitson emigrated from Manchester area of England. He met Margaret Spruit who had emigrated from the Hull area of England. She came with all her brothers and sister.
Duke and Margaret has three children. Gladis, George and Joseph. They were born and raised in Toronto.
Gladis died in 1940 as she was a blue baby. She had a hole in her heart.
George was killed in action in 1944 in France.
Joseph is alive and living in Gravenhurst.
He has 5 children, Joesph James, in Ottawa, Duke living in Gravenhurst, Bruce living in Eganville, John living in Ottawa and Nola, living in Gravenhurst.
At this time we have not been able to track the family in England because Grandfather was killed when Joseph, my father, was a young boy and no information was left behind.
