I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather William Ibbotson, occupation File Cutter. He was born opprox 1843 in the Sheffield Bradfield area. The 1881 census shows his addres as CT 4, 3 Dun Street. His wife was Elizabeth (Swain ?). They had 9 children Annie,Harry,Jane,Herbert,George,Frederick,William(my Grandfather),Charlotte & Mary. The 1891 census shows William as deceased, and the family had moved to Dam Head cottages Oughtibridge. I have looked through the 1871 census, but cannot locate the family. Any information would be helpfull.
