I have found John & Ellen Ibbotsen on the 1871 census living in Nether Hallum, St Phillip Parish, Sheffield, England. There is a 10 year old listed as a nephew to John Ibbotsen that I believe to be my ggrandfather. His name is Matthew Pyre (the spelling on the census looks like Poyer but all the other information is correct) If anyone is a descendent of John & Ellen I would appreciate what information they might have.
