Daniel Igo/Adolphus Igo
On July 5, 1854, Daniel Igo (age 59) of Morgan Co., Missouri, shot and wounded James McCutchen (age 20) in the leg. He was charged with assault with intent to kill, found guilty of acting in a "heat of passion and without a design to effect death", and sentenced to two years in the State Prison. He obtained an Executive pardon in August, 1855. Does anyone have information regarding the circumstances of this case?
Daniel's son Adolphus Igo died Sep 21, 1860, age 25. Does anyone know the cause of death?
