Violet June (Ihnen) Kuehl, 78, of Bella Vista, AR passed away Tuesday, June 29th at the Circle of Life Hospice Center in Springdale, surrounded by her family.

She was born on a farm near Harris, IA, to Fred & Goldie Ihnen. She attended school in Harris, Wadena, MN, & Parkers Prairie, MN where she graduated in 1956.

Violet married Conley Kuehl on September 28, 1952, in Fulda, MN after he completed his military service. They raised a family of four children in Austin, MN. "Vi" as she was affectionately called, retired as a manager from Sears in 1986, after more than 20 years of service.

Violet and her husband retired in Bella Vista, AR, in 1987. Vi enjoyed her church and choir, traveling, golfing (a hole in 1 in 1991), dancing, playing Bridge with friends, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A stroke in 2000 restricted her from many of the activities she previously enjoyed.

She is preceded in death by her siblings; Beulah, Evelyn, & Robert, her parents Goldie & Fred; and her granddaughter, Megan. Violet is survived by her husband of 58 years, Conley Kuehl of Bella Vista; her four children, Kurt (Marlene) Kuehl, Kent Kuehl, Kandace Kuehl-Dannenberg (Bernie), & Bruce Kuehl.
