My Great Uncle Elijah Harrison (Doc) Ikard was Milton's and Seyburn's brother. I was interested by Ms. Engledow's reference to a gun that disappeared when the museum burned. I inherited a .44 Colt Peacemaker from Uncle Doc that was supposed to have come from the Texas Ikards. He told me it had been burned in a fire and the owner had handcarved new grips. Could this be the same gun?
