Moved to Illinois with Francis Herman and Clarkson Penrice (it was reported they adopted him, but their about the same age). He married at least twice to 1ST Zylphia Sanders-numerous children, 2ND Charlotte Pugh on 04-10-1827, again numerous children. He served in the Black Hawk War. He died 01-11-1899 at the age of 106, and was buried in Rogers and or Fender Family Cemetery Larkinsburg Twp, Clay county Illinois.
