Searching for information of the wives of Andrew J. Martin who married Rachel Hudson on March 21, 1865 in Clay County, Illinois. They had 3 children, Sarah E. Martin born about 1865, Sintha Jane "Janie" Martin born about 1869 in Clay County, and Drusilla Martin born about 1870 in Clay County. Evidently Rachel died before 1874, Andrew remarried to a Mary Ochler (spelling) on Nov. 1, 1874 in Clay County. As far as I know, there was no children from this marriage. Mary must have die before 1880, Andrew showed up in Daviess County, Indiana, living with his brother and has his three daughters living with him, he was listed as a widower. Andrew married again to a Mary Neal on Aug. 19, 1882 in Daviess County, Indiana and they had one child, Marietta Martin, born Aug. 1883 in Daviess County, Indiana. I have been to Clay County and found nothing on the Hudson and Ochler girls. I appreciate any help that I can get on these two marriages and the girls parents, etc.
