David Bailey/Almira Pickett Family Query

Hello,
I have recently discovered my "family". My G/G/G/ Grandparents were from New England. David Bailey was born circa 1793 in CT and that is all that we know. He married a young woman named Almira (we think the last name is Pickett), who was born in VT. They settled in NY, in Wa. County. Somehow, they moved to OH, then to DeKalb IL. It seems they may have died in Dekalb IL area. My g/g grandfather was Russell Z. Bailey, born in OH, and he married my g/g/ grandmother, Cornelia Robinson, born in Harmony NY, in 1845. She was also from New England. They married in Sycamore IL and my g/g/ Grandfather Russell was in the civil war in IL. They moved to Iowa, Dayton County, and started their family. They imigrated to NC, Chadbourn and became part of the original Sunny Sounth Colonist. One of their boys was my G Grandfather, Earl Russell Bailey (m) Agatha Hagarty from Greene, Butler County IA. It appears they lived in Iowa, and briefly NC, and then imigrated to Gaithersburg, MD.
If any of this rings a bell with you CT family, please don't hesitate and email. I don't know any of the family in CT or NY or ME or MA,IA,IL . IT would be good to hear from you.
