John Norman Gray and Findlater Sims were married 10 Feb 1860 in Clinton County Illinois. The family below is the only Sims in Clinton in 1860 from Scotland so I feel sure this is the brother of Findlater Sims enumerated with his family and their mother.

Ellen Coopland 25 F b. Scotland

By examining this record, it appears the family was in Pennsylvania in 1845 and in Illinois in 1847.

Does anyone know about this Wm. Sims family?
