The IL. death certificate index has an entry IL DC 0140124, Ebenezer A. Gere, 1925-07-09, Trenton, Clinton Co. If anyone has access to those certificates I would appreciate the information on it. I would also be very interested if there is an obituary for him, or a will, or burial information. Family lore is that he was a confederate prisoner in the Civil War. Many thanks.
