I'm trying to find the family of PFC Trino Mendez, ASN: 16124840, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. PFC Trino Mendez was KIA on September 25, 1944.
PFC Mendez entered the service from Chicago, IL on September 9, 1942.
He was born May 4, 1921 and before entering the service he was living in Cook County, IL. He was a native of Colorado.
Listed as his beneficiaries were his father Juan Mendez, in 1944 living at 2005 West 120 Street, Blue Island, IL and his brother Juan D. Mendez, in 1944 living at 1209 W. 112th St. Chicago, IL.
PFC Mendez is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and his grave is adopted. The adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Mendez family.
