Alexander Vigrats born 1860 Russia, living at 685 Canal St West Town Chicago 1910 Census with wife Bessie (Barbara) and children Katie (Catherine) Emma, Bessie, Frank and Alexandria (Annie). Catherine was my grandmother in law. All that is known about this family is that Barbara died in 1933 in Chicago, resided at 1824 So Peoria St in Chicago. Barbara operated a deli/saloon at that address until about 1927, spoke 7 languages fluently.
Bessie married Fran Matrick/Matick, Catherine married Stanley Francis Suchan and lived at 1822 So Peoria St from her marriage to her death in 1975. Emma married first Doc Smith, a fireman, after his death she married Thomas Houdek and after his death married Fritz Lodding. Alexandria Rose married Charles Ford. There ar 7 known living members of the Alexander and Barbara Vigratz family, My husband, his cousin, her 2 nephews and neice and an Uncle who knows less about the family than I do. Any assistance will be appreciated. I live in FLorida and have no access to Chicago records.
