Hi Teresa

Sorry, I went to school with a Wayne Dix in Trimble Illinois before I moved to Oblong myself. I thought you might be his sister. I graduated from Oblong HS in 1970 so when you graduated was probably with some of my cousins the Harmons. Thad or Brad or even Lori Meese. I moved away when I got married right after graduation so its been along time since I was there. Who is your father? You might be related to the Dix family in Hutsonville thats where they lived the last time I remember. Was you able to locate any information about the New Lynic theater in Robinson? Is the Argus still open or did the Daily news have any info in there archives? I would be interesting in hearing about it. I remember a theater that we went to as kids it was the only one in town just down from the Ford dealer in Robinson all of the buildings are torn down now but there used to be a Hotel on the corner which is now part of the Ford parking lot across the street. It was an old theater with balcony and everything and I remember we used to count the tiles in the ceiling because there was one that was odd and we always tried to find it. Is this the theater you are talking about. It was there in 30's -50's I know but I dont know for sure if its the right one. There could have been one before it but I never heard of one. Let me know ok. Where do you live now? Are you still in Oblong?

Take care
Debbie (Francis) Montgomery
