I'm doing our family tree and looking for some info on my great grandmothers side her name was Ella may Lowe birth 2/23/1885 she married john Wesley Bolin in Sullivan, Moultrie co. Illinois on 1/29/1905 and they moved to Iowa soon after. she died 1912 in Bennett, Iowa . her parents where William Lowe and Eliza Lenora Mathias they where married 7/1/1883 in Jonathon creek, Moultrie co.,Illinois these facts I'm pretty sure of the following I'm just going by some stuff i found on-line Ella may Lowe had a sister Lilly g. Lowe William was in the civil war company f 62 IL. inf . familysearch.org list him born about 1847 in hutsonville,crowford co,IL. father Lewis Lowe mother Abigail Devore and william had 2 wives 1st Ida may Moore which they list a son Jonathon w Lowe - who married Lucy e. Abbott. William's 2nd wife was Eliza Mathias . William's civil war record list Crete,will co,IL. as his residence when he joined but i find no record of him there. this is all Ive been able to find out so far if any of this fits your family or if you know any thing that would help me i would love to hear from you thanks for your time --Linda
