I am doing research on the Weger Family. My husband is decended from David Weger, who was born in England in 1752 and came to the States around 1865 or possibly later. He fougt in the Revolutionary War. He married a Sarah/Sara Harper. They lived in Virginia, had 3 children, John, William and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was born 1780. My husband is a decendant of this William.
It is rumored that David had brothers that came over with him.
We know that several of the Weger's in Crawford, are decendants of Abraham, which we think was a cousin of Davids or possibly a nephew.
Any help in my search will be much appreciated.
