Apparently Samuel didn't live long or they divorced. I did find a Samuel in another county in Illinois.These early census don't give enough info to tell if it is the same one but I don't believe it is. If Eliza was born in 1842 they had to have been married earlier than 1847 unless she was from a former marriage.
I did find that Samuel was born in Va. And apparently they lived in Indiana for a time but I didn't find them there.
