Jensy was Samuel's second wife. I have a copy of their marriage license and a copy of Jensy's death certificate. She is listed as a widow. I have also found that she and Samuel are buried in the Oblong Cemetery. Her son Oliver paid for the funeral of Jensey as she lived with him. On a land patent and the marriage certificate, Samuel appears to be listed as Lemuel. But the first written letter might have just been a fancy "S" and the transcriber listed it incorrectly. It is hard to tell if the letter is a "L" or "S" on the marriage certificate. I am still searching for info on the first wife, his time spent in Indiana and who his parents were in Virginia. Are there any Bridwell's left in Crawford County that can help? I have found a record of some Bridwell's living in Hutsonville. Is there a relationship? Also, I have found one of Samuel's sons being married in Jasper County, Illinois. I would appreciate any help I can get. The smallest thread might lead to the information that I need.
