Hi Debbie,
Thanks for your reply. I think the name was TOVERY until the 1860's when some of these variations of the spelling came to be. My line kept the original spelling of TOVERY, although they have been transcribed as Lovery, Lowery, etc. also.

If you do discover who Thomas L. Tovery is the second husband to that you have researched, please let me know.

I will check out John W. Moore and Sarah R. Tovrea. That maybe the connection.
