Hello Karen,
I want to see some of the cemeteries, particularly the Lisenby cemetery. Years ago I correponded with the late Fern Briggs and she gave me lots of material. I doubt there is too much more I could learn about my Lanes, but wanted to see DeWitt County. My husband and I visited Monroe Co. Ky a few years ago, where the Lanes, Lisenbys and Thompsons came from. I know my grandparents had contact with some of the family who stayed in Illinois. If I have time might look for a few things at the courthouse and want to bring a print-out of my Lane family for the flat files at the library if they will accept.
