Susan Harr/Warr Moore acquired land in Clintonia sometime after 1870 and before 1880. She died in 1882 and her property was given to her daughter with her husband having dower's rights.
These are my notes.

MOORE, Guardian, Real Estate: Lots in the city of Clinton, Ill., value $2200,, subject to Dower interest of George W. MOORE, surviving husband of Susan MOORE deceased. Filed, 25 Sep., 1890." Pg 107 in original court house records, DeWitt Co., IL, Lots H8 in Block 7 of the original ciy, $2200.00 value with $125.00 probably yearly rental.

I'm interested how the young Susan Moore, who died prior to her 34th birthday, acquired property.
I see that there is an index to deeds and a film at the FHC on the volumes available. The date needed would be in volumes 4 to 7, 1870 to 1913.
Susan had a surname no one seemed able to remember. WARR, WARE, HARR, HARE. I would send for the records themselves if someone could identify a WARR, WARE, HARR, or HARE in the index that might have transferred property to Susan Moore. That is why I included the property itself in my quoted notes. If nothing else, that might give a clue.
