Joseph and Mary had two sons born in Illinois while he was still married to Lucy. The first was born 17 Nov 1878, and the second 20 May 1882. Mary Louisa Snyder names Joseph as the father in the birth records, but neither record supplies a name for the child. They are recorded as her first and second born children. Do you know which of these would have been William Perry?
Just from reading Lucy's divorce petition, I would agree that Joseph Sr was a bit of a scoudrel. I would appreciate dates for Joseph Jr and Roy Lee, if you have them. I have more accurate information on Joe Sr's siblings than what you will find online if you are interested in that...... Thanks so much.
