BOIE family near Winfield, Dupage County

I'm trying to find any info on my father's side of the family. My grandfather was Gilbert John Boie, born 1903, I think his mother's name was Ella, I don't know his father's name. They had a house near Winfield. There is supposed to be a park near the house called Boy's or Boie's Park. That's all I know. Any info or tips on where to look would be appreciated. I can't find any birth records or anything.
