First Generation

1. John E. WEST. Born on 25 Sep 1828 in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England. John E. died in West Chicago, DuPage County, Illinois on 1 Feb 1898; he was 69.
On 22 Oct 1852 when John E. was 24, he married Elizabeth ALLISON, daughter of Dr. Robert ALLISON & Sarah BRIGGS, in Oriskany, Oneida County, New York. Born on 28 Feb 1829 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Elizabeth died in West Chicago, DuPage County, Illinois on 21 Apr 1912; she was 83.
They had the following children:

On 7 Nov 1877 when Caroline was 22, she married James Thompson HOSFORD, in DuPage County, Illinois. Born on 10 Aug 1845 in Wyoming County, New York. James Thompson died in West Chicago, DuPage County, Illinois on 3 Dec 1912; he was 67.
