I have the marriage license (not certified) for Louis Bestler & Catherine Mons, married May 20, 1901 @ St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elmhurst, IL.
Louis was born in Germany. His parents were John Bestler & Kirstina(?) Frick. Catherine was born in Chicago. Her parents were Catharina(?) Krieg(?) and Nicolas Mons.
Witnesses to the marriage were Max Bestler & Katie Knifrpen(?).
