Asa Pixley,Sr.'s second wife was Sarah Miller. They married August 21, 1845. She came to West Salem from North Carolina about 1840. Her birth is reported as November 16,1816. With her was a child named Jane who apparently was then adopted by Asa. It is not known whether this was a child from a previous marriage or a younger sister. Does anyone know anything about Sarah Miller or her family? Sincerest thanks, Ruthann Bell.
