Hi Vanessa, My husband's family have lived in Edwards Co. IL since 1800. I have a book EDWARDS COUNTY ILLINOIS PAST AND PRESENT 1814-1980. It was complied by the Edwards Co. IL Historical Society. They meet every Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. There are at least three women who will be of great help to you. I believe there is also a second edition of the book. The Historical Society is on Main Street. The Newspaper office has old editions from the 1830's. Hope this helps. Good Luck
