My family was in Edwards Co. for some time between 1835 and 1850. I was able to find them in the 1840 US census. Later census information reflects my great-grandfather and three of his siblings being born during their stay in Illinois. Their names are as follows: Mary Burbidge B:1837, Albert Burbidge B: 1840, Letitia Burbidge B: 1842, and Emma Burbidge B: 1847. My great-grandfather was Albert burbidge. His parents were William and Mary Burbidge. There also was at least one older sibling, William Burbidge, who was reportedly born in New York prior to their moving to Illinois. I would greatly appreciate any informatin that you may have that would help my research along.
