I have been told that one of the lines I am researching is related to the Brummerstedt family of the Effingham County area of Illinois. I am researching the family of Benjamin F. and Sarah Ann King Dial, who lived in Altamont, Illinois, until Sarah died in 1888 and Benjamin moved back to Ohio. Ben and Sarah's son James Walter Dial married Cora Olive Thomas of Altamont, daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah Ellen Stair Thomas. Sarah was the daughter of Jacob Stair and Margaret Kramer. Jacob was the son of Jacob Stair and Margaret Poorman.
James's sisters married men with the last names of Weaver in Kansas City; Passmore in Clinton and/or Maroa, Illinois; Guy of Fayette County, Illinois; and Shab in Altamont, Illinois.
Does anyone know how they might be related?
