Dickerson/Stamm family, PA<IL<WI

Am seeking any and all info on a Susan Stamm, b. 1803, Berks Co., PA, and a John Dickerson, b. abt. 1807. They were married in Fayette Co. in 1825...but I have no idea who their parents were or how they came to be living in IL, etc. Nothing. They had 4 children, the first 3 in Hillsboro, Montgomery Co., IL: James M. Dickerson; Mary Dickerson; Lucia "Lucy" Dickerson, and then Frances J. Dickerson, b. abt 1836, 1838 in Boscobel, Grant Co., WI. The family moved to Boscobel in 1836; sadly John lived to only 35; his wife, Susan, d.in 1866, and both are buried in the Boscobel Cemetery. Their son, James, went on to become Boscobel's first Post Master; both he and his sister Lucy married Messersmiths...don't know about Mary. Frances married Solomon Israel in 1859; he left her five months later and she never saw him again, but she did have his daughter, Florence Belle Israel, in 1861. Frances lived with her brother James and worked as a milliner. She legally divorced Israel in 1865; nine days later she married a John Hamilton/Hamelton, in Boscobel, but I think they lived in IL for awhile, John (his mother's name was Jane) being from Springfield. John and Frances had two children: William, b. abt. 1866 and Mary, called Alice, b. abt. 1869. By this time Florence Belle (my g-g-grandmother) was about nine.

After this, sometime between 1870-1875, I believe that Frances died...Florence at one time mentioned that "after her mother died of quick consumption" (TB), she, Florence, went to live with her Dickerson relatives for awhile. Later, in 1882, Florence married Myron Ricks, in Boscobel, son of Charles and Sarah (Barnhart) Ricks of Boscobel. They moved around a lot because Myron worked for the railroad, but they ended up living in Stillwater, MN, and he died there 1923, Florence in 1936. Their daughter, Gladys Ricks, was my grandmother, married to Lawrence Skramstad in 1915, and their son, Dayle, b. 1920, was my father, who died a few years ago.

But there is no mention of Frances or her second husband, John...I believe it's possible they BOTH died suddenly of TB...William was later living with a family in Boscobel...we don't know what happened to the youngest, Mary, called Alice, or who took care of her. She grew up in Boscobel, probably, and married a David Bennett Young there; later they moved to Alameda, CA, where he had a furniture store. They died there in the 1940s or 1950s, and I don't think they had children, but am not sure.

But if ANYONE can please help me find out anything about them, OR, MORE IMPORTANTLY, the parents, Susan Stamma and John Dickerson, please let me know!!! Family oral history says that our family is somehow related to Lincoln through his mother, Nancy Hanks, through the Stamms or Dickersons...if anyone has any info on this at all, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much, and I apologize for the long post.
