I am searching for:
Roy E. "Bud" Moore who lived at Route 1, Royalton, Franklin Co, IL
He was born in Arkansas 23 May 1909 & died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, IL on 23 Jan 1977.
Buried in Zeigler Cemetery in Zeigler, IL.
His obituary states that he was a retired coal miner, member of United Mine Workers of America Local 9111. (Are there any records from them that might show other information???)
He was also a veteran of WWII. (what branch of Armed Forces?? - not on WWII draft registrations at Ancestry.
Wife's name listed as Anita.
He also gives his parents names - HENRY MOORE & OLIVIA "Ollie" SHAFFER
I would like information about them - -- they supposedly died in flu epidemic & their children were raised by relatives ---
