My grandfather Alexander "Redwing" Fulton was born in Coal City Il. in 1893.He moved to West Frankfort Il. sometime later. He was a coal miner who started working at Peabody #11. He later worked at Peabody #18 and was working at Franklin #5 in Freeman Spur at the time of his death. He is buried in the Heights Cemetery. Alexander married Pearl Criley in 1926, she died in 2002. Their son Bailey Fulton is my father. Alexander's brother William died of TB in 1918 at West Frankfort and is buried in Braceville Cemetery outside of Coal City Il. Their mother is Minnie Fulton Clark and she died in 1948. She is buried with her second husband Alexander Clark in the Heights Cemetery. Her first husband was Samuel Fulton who was killed in a mine explosion in 1901 at Carbon Hill Il. and is buried in Braceville Cemetery outside of Coal City. I am hoping to locate photos of my grandfather or any of the others listed above. Thought someone may have some coal mining photos that might include my grandfather. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you
Greg Fulton
