Does anyone know the history of the following people, or which ELLISON line they came from? My poss. GX4 Grandfather James HAYNES/HAYNS m. Ann ELLISON Oct. 8, 1786 GreenbrierW/VA. Later moved to Henry Co. TN. My Gx3 Grandfather Asa HAYNES b. 1796 KY/TN d. Feb. 1, 1871 Wayne Co. IL. Am trying to connect James and Asa. Could be poss. that the ELLISON and HAYNES families came to IL together.
ELLISON Family Cemetery (Gallatin Co. IL) located in Asbury Twp. Section 25, T7S R9E. In the E part of Asbury Twp. about 300 ft. N of Kenny Edward's home. The place is now owned by James Ramsey. At one time there were about 9 markers here according to information received.
