I am looking for information on Alexander or maybe Wm. Alexander Robinson. He married Sarah Jane Boaz in 1872. Once I was able to establish the correct spelling of her maiden name, I have found quite a bit of information on her ancestry. I know that Alexander lived alone in Shawneetown in 1870 and that he lived there with Sarah and 2 young children in 1880. The no much larger family had moved to Union County, KY by the 1900 census and Alexander died there in 1906. All census records indicate he was born in TN which agrees with an old handwritten note I found in an old Bible. All census records also indicate his father came from VA. So far, I have not been able to find any source that lists his parents names. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
