Gallatin--Shawneetown 1870s--John & Rebecca Recer

I am looking for info on John and Rebecca Recer.

I understand that they were living in the Shawneetown community in Gallatin.

John Recer died 9-7-1874 and Rebecca Recer died 9-5-1874.

I would like to know more about what caused their deaths considering they died within 2 days of one another.
