Dear Joseph: Thank you for responding. What you provided me with was a key piece of information, but in the reverse sense of what I had anticipated. With your data, I now have proof positive that there are identical names for a father and daughter, including a date of birth within 30 days accuracy for Marie, but that these are two different people than my line. I may now be certain that there is no other connection. I had been confused about this for over five years now, since we also have a John W. Perkins born circa 1860 and a Marie Perkins, his daughter, born 1898, either August or July. Our John W. Perkins divorced his wife, Emily R. Burleson, before 1920, and I thought perhaps he remarried a woman named Bell. I see the error now. My line was married in Greene County, Illinois. Divorced in Kansas, and John died in California, circa 1931, while Emily died in Kansas in 1930. Thank you. Notify Administrator about this message?
