Looking for the parents of Overstreet P. Garrison who is 25 on the 1850 Saline Co. IL census. States he was born in TN.
The 1840 census in Gallatin Co. IL which parts were annexed as Saline Co. IL shows a Zimri Garrison with at least one male the age range of Overstreet. This could be the family but I need more to go on. Anyone heard of Zimri Garrison? He appears on the 1830 census in the same county. so if this is Overstreet's father he came to Gallatin/Saline Co. between 1825 & 1830.
Anone know this Garrison family?
