Looking for information on Haywood G. Bennett and wife Sarah Elizabeth Clark.
They were married April 01, 1850 in Jackson Co., Tennessee. They are listed in the 1850 Jackson Co., Tennessee census.
Next they are listed in the 1860 Hamilton Co., Illinois census with two of Haywood's children from his first marriage and Haywood and Sarah's two sons, Henry Claudius Bennett and John Pomfret Bennett.
Sarah Elizabeth Clark Bennett died on November 19, 1868. I am trying to figure out where she died. I am guessing in Illinois. Two years later however, Haywood and the two sons had moved to Ripley Co., Missouri in time for the 1870 census.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have all kinds of information to share on the Bennett family.
