I have hit the proverbial brickwall. I have been able to trace my father's family back to my great great grandfather, William Barnett.
William BARNETT, b. 20 Mar 1825 in Illinois. He married Elizabeth Cathorine ALLEN 20 Mar 1845 in Hamilton County. Both of them are buried in Hamilton County. They had 8 children: Sarah F., Alem, James Zacharia, Mary Louise, Angeline, Mollie, Roda H., and Rhoda. (The last two are probably the same person.)
I am related through James Zacharia. James Z. moved to Arkansas.
