William Smith, b. abt. 1843

I am looking for any information on a WILLIAM SMITH, b. abt. 1843 in Indiana, and moved to Olena, ILL abt. 1865 with his half-sister, Adeline Starling. Adeline married a J.J. Brown in 1868. I am assuming that William remained in Olena for a time.

William's parents were Jacob Smith and Cinderella Smith Starling. That is the only information I have on him. I am looking for any census, marriage or other records that might help to learn more about him.
