Does anyone know who Simon & Rachel BENNETT are related to in Henry County, Illinois?? Simon b. 1800 PA, Rachel b. 1807 PA
Am trying to learn how this Simon BENNETT relates to my uncle's family. My uncle was Fred Hazelton DANIELS of Cambridge, Henry County, Illinois b. Feb 3, 1884. I have many old photos handed down in his family. Two photos are of Simon and Rachel BENNETT. The photo of Rachel BENNETT refers to her as (Aunt).
The DANIELS family were born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and migrated to Illinois after 1850 census and before 1856.
I was trying to find Simon BENNETT and found him in 1860 Henry County, Illinois census living with a family. This same WILEY family I found in 1850 Stark County, Illinois census but have not found Simon BENNETT in the 1850 census. I haven't been able to locate him in a 1870 census so he possibly may have died before 1870.
I have photos of Simon & Rachel BENNETT.
