They were married in Sweden in 1847 in Svärdsjö Parish in Kopparberg County. They came to the US 1869 with their four daughters - Anna b. 1847, Brita b. 1848, Martha b. 1851 and Stina b. 1854. They settled in Altona, Knox Co., IL.

In the US he changed his name John and she went by Betsy. Can anyone tell me when John and Betsy died?
